Ben Tavener , British freelance multimedia journalist in Brazil. Ben is a producer and photographer based in São Paulo, reporting for radio, TV and news agencies and regulary posts on http://bentavener.com/ and Twitter.

Ben recently spent three months in the north of Mato Grosso state working as part of a team guiding ecotourists at the Cristalino Jungle Lodge and Cristalino Private Nature Reserve, part of the southern extreme of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.
Ben was senior correspondent at The Rio Times between 2011-2013 reporting on the biggest political and economic stories of the region.
He also reported for a wide variety of other international multimedia news outlets, including BBC Radio 5 Live, CTV News, Ebru News, Busan FM, TV Rain and The Voice of Russia.
